Young refugee children’s experience conflicts, separation, loss of family members and displacement which are source of stress and trauma since provision of ECD is limited in refugee settlements.
RESDA designed an early Childhood development program which is helping young refugee children of birth baby to 5 years to manage their trauma and support for their wellbeing. RESDA ECD project has helped the healing process and cognitive, emotional and physical development of infant refugees in Kyaka II refugee settlement and also preparing them learning and setting successful future foundation.
We are planning to construct a fully equipped world class child friendly space in Kyaka II refugee settlement but still limited by funds.
